Michael Lee Jackson Obituary

Michael Lee Jackson, 69, of Jurupa Valley California, passed away on January 22, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Michael was born on April 28,1954 in Upland California. He graduated from Chaffey High School in 1972. He went straight to work at Freight Liner before entering the military. He served as a Corporal in the Marines and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was honorably discharged after his assignment overseas.Michael was one of five brothers who loved to play sports; but Michael was the exceptional athlete in the family. He loved baseball, swimming, diving, water polo, motor cross, and bowling and excelled in every sport he tried.Michael is survived by a son, Sean Michael Jackson and daughter in law, Tess Jackson and two grandchildren, Russ Eugene and Renn Jillian. He is also survived by four brothers, Gary Lynn Jackson, Richard Evans Jackson, Johnny Marvin Jackson, and Steven Eugene Jackson, as well as twelve nieces and nephews.Although we grieve his loss, we celebrate that Michael re-confirmed his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during his last few days.Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:45 AM.
