Here are the latest IE Varsity high school softball rankings.

1. Norco (12-3)

The Cougars are alone atop the Big VIII League standings following wins over King and Roosevelt,.

2. Murrieta Mesa (16-2)

The Rams have two Southwestern League games against crosstown foe Murrieta Valley this week.

3. Riverside Poly (20-1-1)

The Bears knocked off Temescal Canyon and now will enjoy a week off before hosting Valley View.

4. Valley View (7-0-1)

The Eagles opened the Ivy League portion of the schedule with victories over Heritage and Hemet.

5. Roosevelt (7-6)

The Mustangs led Norco after four innings but ultimately fell 4-3 in the Big VIII League showdown.

6. Beaumont (9-3)

The Cougars kicked off Citrus Belt League play last week with wins over Yucaipa and Citrus Valley.
